● Established history of maintaining eligibility

● Established ability to sight-sing and read music at an accelerated 6A level

● No history of discipline infractions

ADVANCED WOMEN
● 10th -12th grade students that will compete as Varsity Women and are working toward Varsity Chorale / Director approval required
● Established history of a strong work ethic and willingness to follow directions
● Established history of maintaining eligibility
● Established history of participation and attendance
● Established ability to sight-sing and read music at an advanced 6A level
● Advanced vocal maturity and technique
● No history of discipline infractions

JV CHORALE
● All 10th -12th grade students working toward auditioning for Varsity Chorale
● Previous choral experience not required
● Focuses on the needs of the developing voice and developing sight reader

FRESHMAN VARSITY WOMEN
● Auditioned 9th grade students
● Established history of a strong work ethic and willingness to follow directions
● Established history of maintaining eligibility
● Established history of participation and attendance
● Established ability to sight-sing and read music at an advanced 6A level
● Advanced vocal maturity and technique

JV FRESHMEN WOMEN
● 9th grade students working toward auditioning for Varsity Chorale. Previous choral experience not required.
● Focuses on the needs of the developing voice and developing sight reader

TIGER FRESHMAN CHORALE
● 9th grade men working towards auditioning for Varsity Chorale
● Previous choral experience not required
● Focuses on the needs of the developing voice and developing sight reader

MIXED FRESHMAN CHORALE
● Auxiliary ensemble
● Auditioned 9th grade students
● Established history of a strong work ethic and willingness to follow directions
● Established history of maintaining eligibility
● Established history of participation and attendance
● Established ability to sight-sing and read music at an advanced 6A level
● Advanced vocal maturity and technique
● No history of discipline infractions
● Must be enrolled in Varsity Freshman Women or Tiger
Freshman Chorale 

TIGER SHOW CHOIR (Pop Ensemble)
● 9th -12th grade students who are interested in performing and competing in a pop ensemble.
● Established history of a strong work ethic and willingness to follow directions
● Established history of maintaining eligibility
● Established history of participation and attendance
● Established ability to sight-sing and read music at an advanced 6A level
● Advanced vocal maturity and technique
● No history of discipline infractions
● Must be enrolled in an additional approved choir course.
● Auditioned course / Director approval required

MADRIGALS
● Auxiliary ensemble
● Auditioned 9th-12th grade students
● Must be enrolled in Varsity Chorale, Freshman Varsity Women, or Tiger Freshman Chorale.

DUAL CREDIT MUSIC THEORY
● Music theory, composition, musical eras, musical genres, and period-defining composers and music will be studied. Concentration on analysis of music will prep students for college music courses. 10th -12th grade students in Band, Choir, or previous music or Orchestra experience will benefit from this course. Must be TSI compliant.

MUSIC PRODUCTION I, II, & III
● Auditioned 10 th -12 th grade students
● Must be enrolled concurrently in an approved choir course
● Established history of a strong work ethic and willingness to follow directions
● Established history of maintaining eligibility
● Established history of participation and attendance ● No history of discipline infractions
● Contemporary commercial music vocal technique, basics of sound engineering, basic compositional techniques, and introduction to DAW systems will be studied.
